CLUELESS
Hit 90’s comedy about a “way-normal” teenager (Alicia Silverstone) growing up beautiful, popular and rich in Beverly Hills. She doesn’t date high school boys (“As IF!”) and hasn’t learned to park (“What’s the point? Everywhere you go has valet.”). And ex-stepbrother Paul Rudd is “kind of a Baldwin.” Modern re-telling of Jane Austen’s Emma, with dialogue that is way-quotable. ("He does dress better than I do…what would I bring to the relationship?”)
1995
Rated PG-13

Evil Dead 2
A young Sam Raimi co-wrote and directed this indie cult classic of the horror comedy genre, widely considered to be the best of the Evil Dead franchise. While walking in the woods, Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his girlfriend stumble upon a mysterious cabin with a dark secret. Soon, Ash is tormented by demons (“Gimme back my hand!”), and there’s an absurd amount of blood and gore, with a healthy dose of slapstick humor. ("Who’s laughing now?”)
