ABOUT FLASHBACK CINEMA

Flashback Cinema is a program celebrating classic movies on the big screen.  Various theatre operators around the country participate in the program.

A different classic movie is presented each week, on Sundays and Wednesdays.  Films are programmed as a series, six or seven weeks at a time.

Flashback Cinema is the creation of John Hersker, who provides an on-screen introduction to each Flashback Cinema screening. 

Hersker, a longtime film industry executive and lifelong movie lover, grew up working in his parents’ theatre in West Hazleton, PA, and believes that movies are best enjoyed in a theatrical setting, on the big screen and with an audience.
