The Ark is said to contain enormous power, and “Indy” (Harrison Ford) and Marion (Karen Allen) must find it before the Nazis do. (“Snakes. Why’d it have to be snakes?”)

Tough guy Swayze’s experience with the Joffrey Ballet (who knew?) prepared him for the role. We dare you to sit still during the film’s big finish. ("Nobody puts Baby in a corner.”)
